Sex offenders in the neighborhood...seems like every month there is a community meeting regarding a level 3 (most likely to reoffend) choosing to live around here. If they are most likely to reoffend, why are they released?) It gets old after a while.

YOUR LAST MEETING.........................

........................at my last meeting, the elder was talking about 1975 and said "it never happened, it is appostates using a time when (some) brothers took the info in the wt wrong"...................i just blinked and finally woke up.. i had been on this site lurking for a couple of weeks, and realized thing werent right, but to have some creep say on the platform " it didnt happen"............when this ruined my and my siblings childhood, just made me snap.

on the way home, i told my hubby "that was the last meeting im going to"................boy was he pleased.. .

so if you didnt get df ......................what happened at your last meeting.?.

My last meeting was a school/service meeting during the summer of 1994. I had just moved to town and decided to go to the local hall even though I knew my beliefs in all things jw were barely hanging by a thread. I don't remember much from that night. I remember that the hall was pretty large (actually two halls in one building) but the crowd was small. The attendees seemed to be a rather listless bunch. I remember an elder on the platform going on a rant about birth control of all things and saying something about "people will find out at armeggedon who was right." I don't remember what set him off. I was probably daydreaming. The one thing I really remember was loitering around after the final Amen was said thinking that someone would be curious about the stranger in their midst. No one came up to me and introduced themselves and asked about me. After a while it became awkward to be standing there watching people hustle out the door so I left. And that was the end of that.

I asked what the guy was wanted for and was told he murdered someone in Chicago. WTF! I asked the Marshall why he thought the murder suspect was in my neighborhood and he said they had info that the suspect was staying in a house a half a block from mine. I don't know what happened with my neighborhood during the last couple of months. Burglers and a murderer. Must be the heat.

today in his radio adress, bush said he hoped for isreal & lebenon states living next to each other in "peace and security".. the witnesses must be peeing in their pants!.

i remember when reagan said those special words in the 80's.

we all new the end was close!.

The Elders would not let him handle the mikes because of his hair being considered too short. They told him it looked like he was a skin head.

Using that logic, wouldn't having neatly trimmed hair make you look like a serial killer such as Ted Bundy? "Good" haircuts along with suits could make you look like corporate thieves such as Enron's Jeff Skilling and Andrew Fastow. Balding and in a suit, you look like Ken Lay...or one of the GB.

You should have told the truth. "You were born with a vagina so you will always be a second class citizen with this religion."

When I hear that a woman is giving a talk on a Sunday morning, I will attend the meeting. Until then, only weddings I am invited to or funer...I mean memorial servives will be the only reason I would step foot in a Hell.
